Philanthropy

In 1979 the Alpha Delta Pi sorority adopted the Ronald McDonald House Charities as it’s national philanthropy. Working with the Ronald McDonald House gives Alpha Delta Pi chapters all across America a common goal for the general good and welfare of others. The Beta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Delta Pi is fortunate enough to have a Ronald McDonald House right here in Columbia. Each week, groups of ADPi sisters visit the Ronald McDonald House to prepare meals, perform household chores, schedule arts and crafts, or to even lend a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on for the families of a sick child. We are committed to serving the Ronald McDonald House and this past year our chapter raised over $14,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia. Our two most notable philanthropy events were Skate For Love, a day of fun filled ice skating benefitting the Ronald McDonald House and Clay Classic, a series of skeet shooting tournaments where participants competed in teams for a day of light hearted competition. Through our endless dedication and vast amounts of service, Alpha Delta Pi’s unbridled passion for serving others is what makes our sorority one of the Ronald McDonald House’s most dedicated volunteer organizations.
